3D printers will come into mainstream use, this technology allowing you to create everything from jewelry to lamps to homes. You can simply send a file to a 3D printer, choose from a range of materials (resin, glass, silver, etc.) and receive the product shortly thereafter. More surprisingly a Los Angeles company is developing a printer capable of making a house. You may already know that Hewlett-Packard is selling a 3D printer. Or Google Sketch Up – software which can help you turn designs into printable objects.
